ePortfolios can be used to support personal development planning (PDP) and help satisfy the requirements for Progress Files. For example, many of the tools within our 'generic' ePortfolio have been designed to support PDP processes. This has been developed as part of an FDTL4 project which is integrating the ePortfolio & PDP with online curricula and virtual learning environments (VLEs). The project team now have 7 year experience of electronic support for PDP, including 2 earlier DFES funded Internet-PARs projects.
